Pastorship

As a child, Edwin enjoyed attending Catholic services with his uncle in Budapest. After moving to NY, he slowly lost faith.   His mother, Rosa, introduced him to the Baptist church in NY.   While attending those services, Edwin restored his faith.  Soon, thereafter, he chose to be aman of God and spread the word through missiomary work and from the pulpit.

Edwin Kautz Easter Sermon 1959 - Edwin Kautz
00:00 / 00:00
Edwin wrote a collection of memoirs.   In his writings he tells about his childhood in Budapest, his close relationship with his brother Stephen, his immigration and life in NYC, finding an understanding of his father and his joys and struggles in the service of God.    It is the best record we have of life for the Kautz family in the 20th century.
